Return & Refund Policy
Because Life’s Too Short for Bad Wine—But No Take-Backs on Open Bottles!

Thank you for shopping at Wine Sherlock. We want you to enjoy every sip, but we also have to set a few ground rules when it comes to returns and refunds. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns & Refunds—The Fine Print (and the Fun Part)

What We Accept for Returns & Refunds:

  • If your wine arrived damaged (think shattered glass, leaking bottles, or anything else that makes you go “Oh no!”), snap a photo and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • If we sent you the wrong bottle by mistake (Oops! We do our best, but sometimes our corkscrew spins the wrong way), let us know and we’ll make it right.

  • The wine must be unopened, with intact labels and in its original condition. If it looks like it had a wild party without you, we can’t take it back!

What We Do NOT Accept:

  • Opened bottles—if you popped the cork, it’s yours! Even if you didn’t like it, maybe your neighbor, your cousin, or even your worst enemy will. Share the love!

  • Damaged labels or packaging—if you took it out for a spin and it got scratched, we can’t resell it.

  • “I just don’t like it” returns—wine is an adventure, sometimes you win, sometimes you sip and learn. No refunds for taste preferences.

How to Request a Return:

  1. Email us at grapeescape@wine-sherlock.com with your order number, photos (if applicable), and a brief explanation of the issue.

  2. Wait for our thumbs-up—we’ll review your request and get back to you within 3 business days.

  3. If approved, send the wine back—we’ll provide you with return instructions.

  4. Refunds or Replacements—once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund (minus any shipping costs) or send a replacement, depending on what we agreed upon.

A Few Extra Notes:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless we made an error.

  • If you refuse delivery or provide an incorrect address, we may not be able to issue a refund.
